The site appears to have been abandoned. I suspect the vendor who took it over was was sold a dud with arrears outstanding to the Council. Another small business struggling to make ends meet and support a family gets blindsided by technicalities.

The food I was sewrved warranted another visit but I don’t suppose that comes into anyones reckoning.

Just around the corner from Hendy Dacia. On the corner of Airport Service Rd and Robinson Way.

This time I ordered a bacon and cheese burger.

No complaints.

Soft fresh bun. More than enough bacon, melted cheese and a cold coke to wash it down. The trailer owner has been doing this long enough to know what works. Although I understand that the business recently changed hands and there appears to be a complication with Council and unpaid rent that is arrears.

Last time it was a hot dog as well as cheesy chips, plenty of salt and both were good enough to recommend a second take.

Distinctly different, it is hard to miss the South African StrEat Food van

Criss crossing through the countryside in Northamptonshire to the urban bustle of London. From Hertfordshire to Buckinghamshire this is a busy, busy mobile shop and South African street food stall.

Found a food van in the lay by on the London road in Liphook on a Friday evening. Serving the only boerewors rolls one is likely to find in the south of England.

Bring and Braai are event caterers based in Liphook that specialise in South African street food.

Their van can also be found in Haslemere on Wednesdays, Cranleigh on Thursdays and Godalming on Saturdays

Jeremy mentioned that he had spotted a sign announcing the imminent opening of the Saigon Munch Box at the Chichester station. But for some reason I needed reminding.

This time I found it

Found The Taco Box tucked away in a quiet side street in East Wittering. Have been looking out for them for a while now.

I tend to get my Tacos confused with Quesadillas and didn’t realise that Ninos is not another variation of the same.

Burritos however, I do know and burrito filled with crispy pork belly roasted in onions, garlic and paprika, is irresitable.
